Run for Studentparliament 2026-27!
Eleven student representatives and eleven substitutes will now be elected into Studentparliament, and the nomination period is approaching the deadline. The deadline for running is next Tuesday, September 1st!
Studentparliament is the highest organ of the student democracy at VUC, and we are by and for the students. Studentparliament promote the students interests and rights both locally and nationally.

Here you will find the form you can complete to stand for election.
All students registered at Volda University College kan run for Studentparliament. By running in the election you can participate by expressing your opinion in important cases that affect your student life.
Studentparliament has about seven meeting a year, on Wednesdays during Democracy time from 14:15, from September to April. The meetings are open for all students.
After the election, the student representatives and the substitutes will attend our training weekend - 26.-27.september - at Hotel Sagafjord in Sæbø (30min away from Volda). Everything is free, and bus transport to and from the hotel is ordered. Here you will learn everything you need to know about Studentparliament and the position.
Important dates in the election:
- 01.September kl.23:59: Nomination deadline
- 03.-10.September: Election period and electronic election
- 26.-27.September: Training weekend at Sæbø
