The German professor and Bond expert Tobias Hochscherf will give lectures and seminars about James Bond as a Cold War Warrior. These will take place at Aasen-House, room 106, Thursday March 3 and Friday March 4.

The auditorium was full to the brink when Leo Ajkic had his presentation during International Day and the study abroad fair itself was also well visited.

A survey made by The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SiU) shows that Volda University College (VUC) is placed 5th in the country, with 23 percent of the graduates having completed a student exchange period during their studies.

Wednesday 20 January, 19.00, you can see the silent film concert Häxan in the
concert hall, Henrik Kaarstad-house. The concert is free and open to everyone.

The International Board at Volda University College has announced a competition for funds related to internationalization at the college. More than 600.000 NOK (app. 64,000 Euro) is in the bid and the board hopes that the competition will stimulate to the development of large projects.

Every wednesday the animation- and documentary departments at Volda University College arrange film screenings open for all students who want to strengthen their film historical insight.

The Faculty of Art and Physical Education introduced the ERASPORT-course designed specifically for international students this spring. The aim of the course is to introduce international students to Norwegian physical education, sport traditions and outdoor life (friluftsliv).
